It started with one simple thought: where are the events for us?
The Curve Connect was created for plus-size women who love fashion, getting dressed, meeting people, and being in rooms where they don’t feel like an afterthought.
It’s not a conference. It’s not a panel. It’s not one of those events where everybody just stands around networking.
It’s a real experience built around style, music, community, and having a good time.
MEET THE FOUNDER
I’m Sherron Breaux — a stylist, content creator, and lifelong fashion girl from a family where style has always mattered.
My mother is a seamstress, and my grandmother owned a boutique. So fashion wasn’t something I discovered later. I grew up around it.
The Curve Connect came from seeing how often plus-size women are expected to make ourselves fit into spaces that were never really designed with us in mind.
I wanted to create the opposite of that.
A room where the fashion is good, the music is right, the energy feels natural, and plus-size women are not the side note.
We’re the point.
